Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 9 June 2026

This policy explains how we handle the personal data of proventest.com users, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The controller is M. V. Communication, Viale Del Foro Italico 122, 00100 Roma — VAT/Tax ID 12055722000.

For any request you can write to support@proventest.com.

2. What data we process

Test answers and time taken: anonymously, to compute your result.

Email address: collected at payment, to send you the certificate and access links.

Full name: only if you choose to generate a named certificate.

Payment data: handled directly by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Anonymous usage statistics and, only with your consent, Meta pixel data to measure ad campaigns.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Delivering the test, report and certificate: performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Sending transactional emails (certificate, recovery): performance of the contract.

Anonymous statistics to improve the service: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).

Meta advertising pixel and marketing cookies: consent (Art. 6.1.a), withdrawable at any time.

4. Providers and transfers

We rely on processors acting on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (statistics), Meta (pixel, only with consent) and DeepSeek (generating the report from anonymous answers).

Some providers may process data outside the EU (e.g. the United States); where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).

5. Cookies

We use first-party technical/functional storage (localStorage) necessary to run the test and remember your preferences: no consent required.

Usage statistics (PostHog) are collected anonymously and without cookies.

The Meta pixel uses third-party cookies and loads only after your consent via the banner. You can change your choice by clearing the site data in your browser.

6. Retention

We keep order and certificate data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal (e.g. tax) obligations. Anonymous statistics cannot be traced back to you.

7. Your rights

You can exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw consent at any time.

To do so write to support@proventest.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

We use technical cookies and, with your consent, the Meta pixel to measure our campaigns. Usage statistics are anonymous. Privacy & cookies
